Our Teams

Barley is a Miniature Labradoodle. He was born January 20, 2020 and joined DEAR in 2023. He was a replacement for his human sister when she went to college. He likes car rides, playing in the snow, and being chased. He is absolutely convinced that he is a big dog.
(Please don't tell him the truth! 🙂) 

Bear is a King Charles Spaniel/Papillon mix. He was born August 31, 2015 and joined DEAR in 2022. He loves meeting new people, cuddles, and anything with peanut butter. He enjoys spending nice days outside by the creek barking at sticks that float by. 

Bella is a Black Mouth Cur mix. She was born in April 2016 and joined DEAR in 2023. Bella loves walks, kids, treats, and -- most of all -- belly rubs!  She tries hard to keep her back yard squirrel-free, and relaxes by napping in the sun. 

Bo is an English Cream Golden Retriever. He was born on December 17, 2013 and joined DEAR in 2024. Bo enjoys neighborhood walks, interacting with people, and volunteering in the community. Whenever someone visits his home, he welcomes them with one of his treasured dinosaurs or dragons. Bo loves to play in the snow and often makes "doggie angels". His favorite treats are cheese and peanut butter. 

Charlie is a Goldendoodle. He was born January 30, 2013 and joined DEAR in 2016. He loves all books... even if they are about cats in leotards or goofy goats. To be outside running and making sure the yard is free of scary animals is his favorite thing. Getting treats and lots of attention is also nice. Charlie thinks he is very handsome and wishes he could be in a shampoo commercial someday. 

Doug is a yellow Labrador Retriever. He was born in 2013 and joined DEAR in 2023. He loves people, chasing balls, swimming, and going for walks to sniff every scent imaginable. Doug likes to hang out with his sister, Marbles, a greyhound. He loves peanut butter, apples, and carrots. At playtime, he only has eyes for tennis balls.

Fiona is a French Bulldog. She was born on September 30, 2017 and joined DEAR in 2024. Fiona likes to take long naps: doesn't everyone? She wakes only for mealtime and attempts to avoid any physical activity her family offers before napping again. She doesn't want you to believe the rumors about her funny noises or epic snoring. She considers herself quite dainty and loves to be carried around and cuddled. She loves the special attention she gets from her therapy jobs. Fiona especially likes that her work gives her a break from her cat brother at home, Fergus.
Humph, cats. 

Gidget is a Goldendoodle. She was born on October 13, 2016 and joined DEAR in 2022. Gidget lives in Boulder and loves to hike up Mount Sanitas, chase tennis balls, and tease squirrels!  She is a 4-H Dog and helps train youth members in dog obedience skills and how to be a responsible dog owner. She loves being around people and dogs. 

Grace is a Havanese/Shih Tzu mix. She was born on March 2, 2013 and joined DEAR in 2023. She loves meeting people, going for walks, and napping on the couch with lots of toys to keep her company. We are pretty sure she dreams about catching squirrels, especially the one that teases her in the backyard!

Harper is a parti Goldendoodle. She was born November 28, 2020 and joined DEAR in 2022. She is an affectionate, gentle girl who adores meeting new people... especially children. Her favorite pastimes are playing in the sprinkler, playing with her besties, and hanging out with her mom. Her guilty pleasure is Baked Cheetos. 

Indy is a Labrador Retriever. She was born 2013, adopted in 2015, and joined DEAR in 2018. She visits memory care and assisted living facilities, schools, and anywhere someone needs the comfort that petting a dog provides. Indy loves long walks, kids, belly rubs, and lying by the fireplace. 

Milo is a Goldendoodle. He was born in December 2020 and joined DEAR in 2022. He loves belly rubs, swimming, and post-bath zoomies.  He also loves to play in the snow, but he does not like getting snow stuck in his paws and so he wears boots in the winter. 

Pixel is a Chow Chow/Australian Cattle Dog mix. She was born on July 17, 2016 and joined DEAR in 2023. The spots that cover Pixel look a lot like pixie dust which is why the name Pixel came to mind. Pixel loves to play with her sassy puppy sister Marzi, cuddles, and especially loves showing at dog shows. Pixel won the 2021 Colorado junior grand champion in showmanship. She is also fond of hiking, watching squirrels for hours, and riding on paddle boards.  

Skjegg is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix. He was born in July 2016, adopted in early 2019, and joined DEAR in late 2019. Pronounced "sh"+ "egg", his name is the Norwegian word for beard in honor of the prominent one he bears. He loves soft squeaky toys and takes very good care of his collection. Skjegg is the neighborhood greeter and says hello to everyone that passes by when he and his handler are out in the yard.
